It's getting warm outside. It's time for lemonade! Let's make it more festive with this recipe for Strawberry Lemonade Fizzed Ice Tea. It's tasty and very colorful ; great to serve for entertaining.
Strawberry Lemonade Fizzed Iced Tea
1 pint fresh strawberries, sliced
1 pint fresh strawberries, sliced
4 cups boiling water
1 orange pekoe or dark tea bag
1 can pink frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed
1 litre of chilled 7 Up or Sprite
Ice cubes
Wash and pat dry the sliced strawberries, place in a large bowl and set aside. In another bowl pour water over the tea bag and let it steep for 5 minutes. Remove the tea bag and allow the tea to cool to room temperature. Stir tea into strawberry bowl along with lemonade concentrate. Stir in the chilled 7Up or Sprite. Pour into a largel pitcher. Serve in tall glasses over ice cubes. Garnish with a strawberry slice.
